Uh-oh, I’ve been MIA again and I’m truly sorry. Things haven’t been going as smooth as I have planned but that’s not what I’m going to talk about. I believe I promised to post the Son & Park Beauty Water review before. So here I am posting the long overdue review on the highly raved Korean beauty water.

For your information, I have been using this product for over a month before I write this review. So it is safe to say that I have had enough time to really see the result of this product. And actually, I have already run out of it that’s why I’m rushing on writing the review before it got mentioned in my “Monthly Empties” post.

I’d heard lots of good stuff about this product before trying it out so I had a quite high expectation. And since it was a tad pricey, I decided to try the travel size first before jumping in and buy the full-size product. (The travel size is 100 ml)

Quite a long list of ingredients for a Korean skincare product and most of them are not natural. Based on the CosDNA analysis the underlined ingredients are to be watched out for since they are comedogenic. While the ingredient in bold is rated 5 out of 5 as a potential irritant. So If I had a sensitive skin I would be really cautious on trying this product. Thankfully I’m not so I had less worry trying it.

What it claims to do

The product promises to be a multitasker, as a toner, gentle exfoliator, and cleansing water. As a toner, it claims to prep your skin for the next step of your skincare regime or makeup. It also claims to remove impurities when used as cleanser. The willow bark and papaya extract also make it a good product for mild exfoliator. With pH 4.5 it will help your skin to get back to its natural state after cleansing. All in all, it claims to be suitable for all skin type.

How I use it

Despite its multitasking ability, I only use it as a toner/mild exfoliator. A cleansing toner to be exact. So it’s on the 3rd step of my skincare routine, especially for the morning. I rarely use it in the afternoon because I use stronger exfoliators at night. But it’s been a really nice addition to my skincare arsenal as I’ve been looking for a mild exfoliator to use in the morning.

I use cotton pads to apply it into my face before continuing on my next routine.

What it did to my skin

I know it has received lots of positive reviews and that is one of the reasons I was tempted to try it. But I always kinda skeptical towards any product that has several functions, i.e., a toner that is also an exfoliator and cleansing water. I also quite anxious about the alcohol content despite not having a sensitive skin. But after the first week I can feel that this product does nothing but wonder to my skin. It cleansed my skin really well and reduced the redness that I often have.

It cleansed my skin really well and reduced the redness that I often have. It also has a moisturizing effect to my skin. After a full month of using every morning and sometimes at night, I can finally see that my skin got cleared up. I rarely get cystic acne anymore since I started using this product so that’s a huge plus.

How much and where to get it

It actually has a pretty fair price. The travel size ones are about IDR 95-100K while the 340ml is around IDR 300K. However, I found it a bit tricky to find. Your best bet is the online sellers but even they don’t usually stock up many of this product so it usually unavailable. If you have any info on where to easily get this product please let me know.

Concluding remark

I love this product as it helps to clear up my skin. The packaging and the smell are also great. So if I were to be asked whether I’d repurchase, the answer is yes. The only thing I’m not really happy with is its ingredients that consist of irritant like alcohol. Even though it’s in an insignificant proportion and doesn’t really affect my non-sensitive skin but it still makes me rather anxious. So for that, I’m only giving it 4 stars out of 5.
