For the past couple of weeks, I’d been in such a productivity and creativity rut. It made me unable to bring myself in front of the laptop and write blog posts like before. I guess it’s because I’d been quite spoiled with the post scheduling system I’ve been enjoying the preceding weeks. As you might notice I’ve been rather diligently managed to post every Thursday. Yeah, that’s due to my scheduling game.

It’s not that I don’t have the idea of what to write. In fact, I’ve got countless blog posts’ idea, waiting to be executed. It’s just I don’t really want to. My anxiety was at play again. That’s why for this week, taking a page of one of the bloggers I discovered lately, I decided just to start with something light and easy to write. A list of things that’s been staying in my radar currently. Things I got interested in and enjoyed. I’m determined to make it as a series, hence the numbering. Let’s just begin.

On Netflix

ONE // Sex Education

I came across this series a month ago and finished off the entire first season in mere three days. It’s a delightful and refreshingly witty coming-of-age story of a sex therapist son, Otis. I don’t want to say a lot, you just have to watch it and tell me if you like it or not. Though I must warn you that it is NSFW, so watch your surroundings before you watch it.

TWO // The Good Place

Actually, this serial has been technically on my radar for a while. I had kept seeing it’s ad on FoxLife but I never got interested to watch it. But once while browsing on Netflix, I read the description of this serial and got interested. I gotta say I really like the premise of this serial and they are executing it rather brilliantly as well. The story surrounds the life after the death of Eleanor, an arsehole earthling who finds herself in The Good Place (some kind of heaven). She realises she doesn’t belong there but determined to stay. So, she seeks help from fellow Good Place resident to avoid getting kicked out to The Bad Place.

THREE // Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj

I got to watch this series after I finished watching Hasan Minhaj’s stand up; Homecoming King. I found him really funny and very straightforward. Love his jokes. And in Patriot Act he talks a lot about current events; political and popular culture. Really enjoyable to watch especially since I got really tired reading about politics and conflicts on conventional media.

On Spotify

FOUR // Talk – Khalid

FIVE // It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You) – The 1975

SIX // The Gary Vee Audio Experience – Gary Vaynerchuck

On Youtube

SEVEN // Annie Jaffrey

Stumbled across her channel because of her apartment tour vlog and I really liked what I saw. Her channel are mainly about lifestyle and beauty. But what I really enjoy is her health and fitness content because I think it’s really realistic and relatable. She’s got some pretty good tips on wellness as well.

EIGHT // C.G.P Grey

This channel has actually been on my radar for quite long time. It’s my to-go channel for any quirky or somehow mundane things that I need explanation of. They explain it clearly and with a bit of comedy through a badly drawn cartoon. The videos are all simple but enlightning. I particularly enjoy their Brexit videos, like this one.

NINE // MadFit

Her excercise videos all looks insanely easy but once you try it, it’s insanely torturing as well. I really love her videos because they’re mainly at home, no equipment excercises and quite simple to follow due to her clear instructions. Take a peep if you’re on a healthy mission as I am 😉

See you in the next post!
